Your First Session, Step by Step
Launch the game and finish the tutorial
Search "My Dino Park" on Roblox (by Dino Community) and join. The 2-minute tutorial walks you through your first egg and unlocks all menus.
Redeem every active code
Open Store on the left side, scroll to the bottom code box, and enter all active codes. You get tens of thousands of Cash, hundreds of Teeth, and a free Frozen Egg before spending anything.
Hatch the Frozen Egg first
The DINOSLOVESU code gives a Frozen Egg that hatches a rare dinosaur. Place it immediately โ it out-earns anything you can buy this early.
Fill your starter plot with cheap eggs
Buy Common Eggs (500 Cash) and Uncommon Eggs (1,500+) to fill every open pen. Empty pens earn nothing โ coverage beats quality early on.
Reinvest into Rare eggs and expansions
Once income is steady, save for Rare Eggs (~10k) and your first land expansion. Replace your weakest Common dinos as better ones hatch.
Collect offline earnings daily
The park keeps earning while you are away. Log in at least once a day to collect and reinvest โ compounding is the whole game.
UI & Controls Explained
Store
Left-side button. Buy eggs, boosts, and gamepasses. The code redemption box hides at the very bottom of the Featured tab.
Inventory
Holds hatched dinosaurs that are not yet placed. Drag a dino from inventory onto any open pen to start earning from it.
Placement Mode
Tap a pen to place, move, or replace dinosaurs. Higher-tier dinos should always take the pens closest to the entrance path.
Codes Box
Inside Store, scroll all the way down. Codes are case-sensitive โ paste them exactly. A green confirmation means it worked.
Upgrades Menu
Buy land expansions, more pens, and income buildings like the Visitor Booth and Food Court. Expand when all pens are full.
Controls & Gestures Quick Reference
My Dino Park uses standard Roblox movement plus on-screen buttons โ there are no custom keybinds to learn. Here is every action mapped across PC, mobile, and controller.
| Action | PC (keyboard & mouse) | Mobile (touch) | Console (controller) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Move around your park | W A S D or arrow keys | Left virtual joystick | Left stick |
| Rotate / pan the camera | Hold right mouse button and drag | Swipe one finger on empty ground | Right stick |
| Zoom in / out | Mouse scroll wheel | Pinch with two fingers | Left / right bumper |
| Jump | Spacebar | Jump button, bottom right | A button |
| Open the Store | Click the Store button on the left edge | Tap the Store button on the left edge | Move the cursor to Store, press A |
| Buy an egg or claim a pad | Walk onto the buy pad โ no key needed | Walk onto the buy pad | Walk onto the buy pad |
| Redeem a code | Store โ scroll to bottom โ paste โ Enter | Store โ scroll down โ tap box โ on-screen keyboard | Possible but slow โ use PC or mobile |
| Open Roblox menu / leave | Esc key | Roblox logo, top left | Xbox / PlayStation button |
๐ก The only control that really differs by platform is code redemption โ typing long strings like MBDELAYUPDTLOL is far faster on PC or mobile than on a controller. Redeem your codes there, then play wherever you like; progress is tied to your Roblox account, not the device.
Stuck? Fixes for the 6 Most Common Beginner Blockers
Almost every new-player question about My Dino Park comes down to one of these six issues. Each card lists the symptom, why it happens, and the exact fix.
๐โI can't find the code boxโ
Why it happens: The Store only unlocks after the 1-2 minute tutorial, and the code field is not on its own tab.
Fix: Finish the tutorial, click Store on the left edge, then scroll all the way to the bottom of that same tab โ the gift code box sits underneath the egg and boost listings.
๐ซโMy code says invalidโ
Why it happens: Codes are case-sensitive, single-use per account, and a trailing space breaks them.
Fix: Copy-paste the code instead of typing it. If it still fails you already redeemed it on this account, or the server is stale โ rejoin a fresh server and try once more.
๐โMy park stopped earning Cashโ
Why it happens: Either pens are sitting empty or your visitor throughput is capped.
Fix: Open Inventory and place every hatched dino, then buy the Visitor Booth upgrade. If all pens are already full, expand your land before buying more eggs.
๐ธโI can't afford the next egg tierโ
Why it happens: Most new players spend their starting Cash before redeeming any codes.
Fix: Redeem all 11 active codes first โ that is $171,650 Cash and 2,600 Teeth for free, enough to skip most of the Common and Uncommon grind entirely.
๐ฆโMy dinosaurs disappeared after hatchingโ
Why it happens: Hatched dinos land in your Inventory; they are not auto-placed into a pen.
Fix: Open Inventory and drag each dino onto an open pen. Nothing is lost โ an unplaced dino simply earns nothing until you place it.
๐โThe game keeps kicking me outโ
Why it happens: A Roblox client or server hiccup, not a save problem.
Fix: Rejoin from the official game page (place ID 80701570784699). Your park is saved to your Roblox account and offline earnings keep accruing while you are away.
Beginner Mistakes to Avoid
โ Skipping codes and buying eggs with starter Cash
โ Redeem all codes first โ the free rewards are worth more than an hour of early grinding.
โ Saving for one expensive egg while pens sit empty
โ Fill every pen with cheap dinos first. An empty pen earns zero; even a Compsognathus pays for itself fast.
โ Buying decorations before income upgrades
โ Prioritize eggs, pens, and income buildings. Decorations do not increase visitor spend early on.
โ Ignoring offline earnings
โ Log in daily to collect and reinvest. Missing collection days dramatically slows your compounding curve.

Is My Dino Park free to play?
Yes. My Dino Park is completely free on Roblox. You can buy optional gamepasses with Robux, but everything in this guide is achievable without spending real money.
How long does the tutorial take?
About 1-2 minutes. It walks you through buying your first Common Egg and placing your first dinosaur. Finish it first โ the Store and code box unlock afterwards.
Do I lose progress when I log off?
No. Your park is saved to your Roblox account, and the game keeps generating offline earnings while you are away, which you collect on your next login.
Can I play My Dino Park with friends?
Each server holds up to 6 players, each building their own park. You can visit and view other parks in your server, which is a good way to see late-game layouts.
What should I do first in My Dino Park?
Finish the tutorial, then immediately redeem all active codes in the Store. The free Cash, Teeth, and Frozen Egg give you a massive head start before you spend any earned Cash.
What are the controls in My Dino Park?
Standard Roblox controls: WASD or arrow keys to move, hold right-mouse and drag to rotate the camera, scroll wheel to zoom, and Spacebar to jump on PC. On mobile use the left joystick to move, a one-finger swipe to look around, and pinch to zoom. Purchases happen by walking onto buy pads, and the Store button on the left edge opens the shop and the code box.
Why can't I find the code redemption box in My Dino Park?
The gift code field sits at the very bottom of the Store panel rather than on a separate tab, and the Store only unlocks after you finish the short tutorial. Click Store on the left edge of the screen and scroll all the way down โ the box appears below the egg and boost listings.
My park stopped making money โ what should I check?
First open Inventory: hatched dinosaurs earn nothing until you drag them into a pen. Then confirm every pen is filled and buy the Visitor Booth, which raises visitor throughput. If all pens are occupied, expand your land before spending on more eggs.
