Why Upgrades Matter
Park upgrades multiply your visitor income — often more effectively than buying another egg. While eggs add new dinos, upgrades boost the earning power of EVERY dinosaur in your park. The right upgrade order can double or triple your income faster than any single egg purchase.

Food Court ($8,000)
$8,000+50% income boost. Buy after you have at least 2-3 dinos earning. Doubles your mid-game income.
Dino Hotel ($20,000)
$20,000Doubles all income. Wait until you have Rare or Epic dinos to maximize the 2x multiplier effect.
Helicopter Tour ($50,000)
$50,000Triples all income. End-game upgrade. Only buy after you have a T-Rex or multiple Epic dinos.

Buy the next income multiplier
Multipliers scale everything you earn. Grab Visitor Booth first ($2,000, +20%), then Food Court, Dino Hotel, and Helicopter Tour as soon as each break-even looks short (see table below).
Income is decent but the next egg tier still feels out of reach
Hold cash — skip upgrades for now
If you are within ~2 minutes of income of the next egg tier, an upgrade only delays the bigger jump. Redeem unused codes (≈$171K + 2,600 Teeth in total) to close the gap instantly.
Park space is full — nowhere to place a new dinosaur
Replace, don’t expand blindly
Sell or replace your lowest income-per-slot dinosaur (Compsognathus at $50/min is always the first out). One Legendary slot out-earns a whole row of Commons.
You just bought a big upgrade and cash sits at zero
Run a recovery loop before the next spend
Let visitor income rebuild a reserve equal to your next egg cost before committing again. Activating a 2x Money boost from codes during this window halves the recovery time.

Every multiplier pays for itself — the only question is how fast. Break-even = cost ÷ extra income per minute. The example column assumes a park earning $1,000/min before the upgrade.

💡Rule of thumb: if an upgrade breaks even in under 20 minutes of play, buy it before your next egg — the multiplier makes every later egg pay back faster too.
Upgrade Strategies
Start with Booth
The Visitor Booth ($2,000) is the most cost-effective upgrade in the game. It boosts all income by 20% for less than an Uncommon Egg. Buy it after your first or second egg hatches.
Stack Multipliers
Upgrades stack multiplicatively: Booth (1.2x) + Food Court (1.5x) + Hotel (2.0x) = 3.6x total income. That's more than a Helicopter Tour alone — and costs less combined.
Timing Is Everything
Buy Booth at $2,000 saved. Buy Food Court when your park income hits ~$500/min. Buy Hotel after $1,000/min. Buy Helicopter as your final end-game upgrade.
Eggs Before Upgrades
Each upgrade multiplies what your dinos earn. If you have no dinos, a 3x multiplier on $0 is still $0. Always hatch sufficient dinos FIRST, then upgrade.
