Upgrades Guide

Every park upgrade ranked by cost, income boost, and when to buy. Updated July 6, 2026.

Why Upgrades Matter

Park upgrades multiply your visitor income โ€” often more effectively than buying another egg. While eggs add new dinos, upgrades boost the earning power of EVERY dinosaur in your park. The right upgrade order can double or triple your income faster than any single egg purchase.

Upgrade Priority Order

1st

Visitor Booth ($2,000)

$2,000

Best first upgrade. +20% income to all dinos for only $2,000. Pays for itself faster than any other investment.

2nd

Food Court ($8,000)

$8,000

+50% income boost. Buy after you have at least 2-3 dinos earning. Doubles your mid-game income.

3rd

Dino Hotel ($20,000)

$20,000

Doubles all income. Wait until you have Rare or Epic dinos to maximize the 2x multiplier effect.

4th

Helicopter Tour ($50,000)

$50,000

Triples all income. End-game upgrade. Only buy after you have a T-Rex or multiple Epic dinos.

5th

More Eggs First!

Variable

Never rush upgrades before you have dinos to boost. An upgrade on an empty park earns nothing.

Bottleneck Decision Tree

Not sure whether your next purchase should be an upgrade, an egg, or more space? Find the symptom that matches your park below and follow the recommended action.

What is blocking your parkโ€™s growth right now?

If

Cash trickles in โ€” every purchase takes forever to save for

Then

Buy the next income multiplier

Multipliers scale everything you earn. Grab Visitor Booth first ($2,000, +20%), then Food Court, Dino Hotel, and Helicopter Tour as soon as each break-even looks short (see table below).

If

Income is decent but the next egg tier still feels out of reach

Then

Hold cash โ€” skip upgrades for now

If you are within ~2 minutes of income of the next egg tier, an upgrade only delays the bigger jump. Redeem unused codes (โ‰ˆ$171K + 2,600 Teeth in total) to close the gap instantly.

If

Park space is full โ€” nowhere to place a new dinosaur

Then

Replace, donโ€™t expand blindly

Sell or replace your lowest income-per-slot dinosaur (Compsognathus at $50/min is always the first out). One Legendary slot out-earns a whole row of Commons.

If

You just bought a big upgrade and cash sits at zero

Then

Run a recovery loop before the next spend

Let visitor income rebuild a reserve equal to your next egg cost before committing again. Activating a 2x Money boost from codes during this window halves the recovery time.

Upgrade Break-Even Cheat Sheet

Every multiplier pays for itself โ€” the only question is how fast. Break-even = cost รท extra income per minute. The example column assumes a park earning $1,000/min before the upgrade.

UpgradeCostIncome boostBreak-even @ $1,000/minBuy when
๐ŸŽซVisitor Booth$2,000+20%โ‰ˆ10 minImmediately โ€” the earliest affordable multiplier
๐Ÿ”Food Court$8,000+50%โ‰ˆ16 minIncome โ‰ฅ $500/min, before mass Rare egg buying
๐ŸจDino Hotel$20,000ร—2.0โ‰ˆ20 minIncome โ‰ฅ $1,000/min โ€” before pushing Epic eggs
๐ŸšHelicopter Tour$50,000ร—3.0โ‰ˆ25 minAfter Dino Hotel, once T-Rex savings are secured

๐Ÿ’กRule of thumb: if an upgrade breaks even in under 20 minutes of play, buy it before your next egg โ€” the multiplier makes every later egg pay back faster too.

Upgrade Strategies

๐Ÿ

Start with Booth

The Visitor Booth ($2,000) is the most cost-effective upgrade in the game. It boosts all income by 20% for less than an Uncommon Egg. Buy it after your first or second egg hatches.

โšก

Stack Multipliers

Upgrades stack multiplicatively: Booth (1.2x) + Food Court (1.5x) + Hotel (2.0x) = 3.6x total income. That's more than a Helicopter Tour alone โ€” and costs less combined.

๐ŸŽฏ

Timing Is Everything

Buy Booth at $2,000 saved. Buy Food Court when your park income hits ~$500/min. Buy Hotel after $1,000/min. Buy Helicopter as your final end-game upgrade.

๐Ÿ’ฐ

Eggs Before Upgrades

Each upgrade multiplies what your dinos earn. If you have no dinos, a 3x multiplier on $0 is still $0. Always hatch sufficient dinos FIRST, then upgrade.

Upgrades FAQ

What's the best first upgrade?

Visitor Booth ($2,000) โ€” +20% income to all dinos. Buy it after your first or second egg.

Should I buy eggs or upgrades first?

Buy 2-3 eggs first to establish income, then invest in upgrades. Upgrades multiply what your dinos earn โ€” no dinos = no benefit.

Do upgrades stack?

Yes! Booth (1.2x) + Food Court (1.5x) + Hotel (2.0x) = 3.6x total income. They multiply, not just add.

When should I buy Helicopter Tour?

As your last upgrade. Only after you have a T-Rex or multiple Epic dinos with steady $1,000+/min income.
