My Dino Park Trading Guide

Everything we know about trading in My Dino Park โ€” the TRADINGSOON code, when the trading system arrives, which dinosaurs will hold value, and how to prepare your park (and protect yourself from scams) before it launches.

Coming Soon

Is Trading Live in My Dino Park?

Not yet โ€” but it is officially on the way. The developer shipped the code TRADINGSOON with Update 4, which is the clearest possible signal that a player-to-player trading system is in development. There is no in-game trade menu as of UPD 4, and any site or video claiming trading is already live is describing a different game.

Official teaser

The TRADINGSOON code name comes straight from the developer โ€” trading is a planned feature, not a rumor.

Current version: UPD 4

As of Update 4 (July 18) there is no trade window, trade requests, or gifting between players in the game.

Where it will be announced

Expect the trading release in an update changelog on the official Discord and a new [UPD X] title on the Roblox page โ€” we track both on our Updates page.

Redeem TRADINGSOON While It Lasts

The teaser code is also one of the best-value codes in the game right now. Codes tied to teasers often expire once the feature actually ships, so redeem it before trading launches.

When Does Trading Launch? UPD 5 Is Dated August 8, 2026

PCGamesN reported on July 26 that UPD 5 is "only set for August 8" โ€” the first update since the TRADINGSOON code shipped with UPD 4 on July 18. The developer has not posted an official date, and the Roblox experience still reads [UPD 4!], so treat August 8 as a credible report rather than a confirmed launch. We re-check the game title every 12 hours and will update this page the moment UPD 5 goes live.

Reported date

August 8, 2026, per PCGamesNโ€™s My Dino Park codes hub (updated July 26). No developer confirmation yet.

Why trading is the likely headline

TRADINGSOON shipped with UPD 4 on July 18. The developer names teaser codes after features that arrive in the following update.

Status as of August 2, 2026

The Roblox page still shows [UPD 4!] with 11 active codes. Nothing has changed yet โ€” no new codes, no trading menu.

How to Prepare for Trading (Before It Launches)

1

Hold your rare hatches

If you hatch a duplicate Epic or Legendary, think twice before selling it for Cash. Once trading opens, a spare Spinosaurus or T-Rex is likely to be worth far more to another player than its sell price.

2

Keep your Frozen dino

The Frozen dino from the DINOSLOVESU code is the closest thing the game has to a limited collectible. Code-exclusive items historically become top trade targets in Roblox tycoons once codes expire.

3

Stack Teeth as hard currency

Teeth are scarcer than Cash and capped by codes and quests. If trading supports currency sweeteners, Teeth will almost certainly be the premium side of any deal.

4

Grow income now, trade later

A strong Cash engine lets you hatch more eggs the day trading opens โ€” more hatches means more spare dinos to trade with. Use the calculator to max your income before the update hits.

Pre-Trading Value Reference (All 12 Dinosaurs)

There is no official trade value list yet โ€” anyone publishing exact trade prices before the system exists is guessing. What we can rank today is objective in-game worth: egg cost, income per minute, and rarity. This table is the baseline any real value list will be built on.

What Will Actually Drive Trade Value

๐Ÿ’Ž

Rarity tier

Legendary and Epic dinos are hard to hatch, so supply stays low. Rarity is the #1 price driver in every Roblox trading economy.

๐Ÿ’ฐ

Income per minute

A dino that earns more is worth more. T-Rex at $2,500/min will anchor the high end of any value list.

๐ŸงŠ

Code exclusives

The Frozen dino stops being obtainable when DINOSLOVESU expires โ€” limited supply items historically appreciate the most.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Update cycles

New dinos added in future updates start scarce and expensive, then settle. Early-update trading windows are where the best deals happen.

What to Stockpile Before Trading Goes Live

Trade value comes from scarcity, and scarcity is already measurable today. There is exactly one Legendary species out of 12, and one reward in the entire game that has no Cash purchase path at all. Everything below is ranked from our live dinosaur database and the current code list โ€” not from invented trade prices.

AssetWhy it is scarceTargetHow to get it nowPriority
Frozen EggCode-only reward from DINOSLOVESU. No egg tier hatches it and no Cash price exists, so supply is permanently capped at the players who redeemed the code.1 (redeem today)Redeem DINOSLOVESU โ€” free, also pays $10,000 CashHighest
T-RexThe only Legendary among 12 species (8.3% of the roster). Every other rarity spreads demand across 2โ€“3 species.1โ€“3 spareLegendary Egg at $50,000 each โ€” free code Cash covers threeHighest
Spinosaurus / TriceratopsOnly two Epic species exist, and the $20,000โ€“$25,000 egg barrier keeps casual parks out of the tier.1โ€“2 spareEpic Egg โ€” $25,000 (Spinosaurus) or $20,000 (Triceratops)High
Liquid Cash reserveDay-one trade prices are always the most volatile. Buyers with cash on hand set the market before it settles.$50,000+ untouchedAll 11 active codes pay $171,650 combinedHigh

Common / Uncommon duplicatesThree species per tier at $500โ€“$6,000 per egg. Any player farms these in minutes, so trade value will sit near zero.Do not hoardReplace them for slot space insteadSkip

The cheapest scarce asset is free

DINOSLOVESU costs nothing and hands you the one item in My Dino Park with no Cash purchase path. Teaser codes are also the most likely to be retired when the update they tease finally ships โ€” so redeem TRADINGSOON and DINOSLOVESU before August 8, not after.

Reality check: no trading system exists in My Dino Park yet. This checklist ranks assets by present-day supply scarcity, which is the only honest signal available before the feature ships. Any site publishing exact trade values today is guessing.

Trading Safety โ€” Avoid the Classic Scams

โœ• Trusting 'trading servers' before the feature exists

โœ“ Any Discord or in-game chat offering to 'hold your dino' or 'middleman' a trade today is a scam โ€” there is no legitimate way to transfer dinos in UPD 4.

โœ• Paying Robux or real money for promised dinos

โœ“ Off-platform payments have zero protection. When trading launches, only trade inside the official in-game trade window.

โœ• Sharing your account for a 'trade test'

โœ“ Never share your password or screen-control. No legitimate player or developer needs account access to trade.

โœ• Rushing into first-day trades blind

โœ“ Prices are most chaotic in the first days after launch. Check our value table, compare a few offers, and let obvious lowballs pass.

Trading FAQ

Can you trade dinosaurs in My Dino Park?

Not yet. As of Update 4 there is no trading system in My Dino Park. However, the developer released the code TRADINGSOON, officially confirming that a trading feature is planned. We track every update, so check our Updates page to see the moment it ships.

What does the TRADINGSOON code give you?

TRADINGSOON grants 20,000 Cash and 400 Teeth. It was released alongside Update 4 as a teaser for the upcoming trading system, and it is one of the highest-value codes currently active.

When will trading come to My Dino Park?

There is no official date. The game updates roughly weekly (UPD 4 shipped July 18, 2026), and the TRADINGSOON teaser suggests trading is near the top of the roadmap. The announcement will land on the official Discord and the Roblox page title.

Which dinosaurs will be worth the most in trading?

Expect rarity and income to set prices: T-Rex (Legendary, $2,500/min) at the top, then Spinosaurus and Triceratops (Epic). The code-exclusive Frozen dino could become the most sought-after item once its code expires, because supply stops growing.

Is there a My Dino Park trading value list?

Not an official one โ€” trading isn't live, so any 'value list' with exact prices is invented. Our pre-trading table ranks all 12 dinosaurs by hard data (egg cost, income, rarity), and we will publish a real value list as soon as the system launches.

When is UPD 5 in My Dino Park?

PCGamesN reported that UPD 5 is set for August 8, 2026. The developer has not confirmed a date publicly and the Roblox experience still shows [UPD 4!] as of August 2, 2026. Updates have landed roughly weekly since launch (July 1, July 4, July 11, July 18), so an early-August release fits the established pattern.

What should I save before trading launches in My Dino Park?

Prioritise anything that cannot be farmed with Cash. The Frozen Egg from DINOSLOVESU has no purchase path at all, and T-Rex is the only Legendary among the 12 species. Redeeming all 11 active codes gives $171,650 Cash and 2,600 Teeth โ€” enough to bank three T-Rex eggs at $50,000 each before trading opens.

Will Common dinosaurs be worth anything in My Dino Park trading?

Almost certainly not. The Common and Uncommon tiers hold three species each and their eggs cost only $500 to $6,000, so any player can farm them within minutes. Scarcity drives trade value, so spend your park slots on Epic and Legendary dinosaurs rather than hoarding filler species.
